Sami Jones was born to be a hair stylist. Her obsession with hair and scissors began at an early age as she would on a daily basis “borrow” a new pair of scissors from the kindergarten scissor rack to take them home at night and proceed to give her dolls fabulous new looks before drifting off to sleep. Of course her mother, after discovering her scissor collection under the bed made her return them to school much to her dismay. Her next bold move involved a pair of bathroom shears and her own eyelashes.

Sami began her education at Phagan’s School of Hair design only one month after graduating high school. Upon graduation she was determined to seek out further education and decided on an apprenticeship at a local Aveda salon. She became a master stylist after 8 months under her mentors and went to work at Dosha Hawthorne. She received continuous hands-on training from Aveda’s global masters and expert stylists from around the world.  Years later, Sami left Dosha to begin her own business. She has continued to seek out further education and classes in order to stay updated and informed.  Finding herself in need of change once again she has brought herself to 77 salon to seek out new experiences and  great  business opportunities.
